Contextualization has everything to do with Bible translation. By translating the Bible into so many different languages/cultures it became increasingly clear that the interpretation of the text is also context-dependent. Between 1973 and 1998, Tineke Bosch worked in Surinam on the translation of the New Testament into Sarnami Hindi. At her farewell she wrote a booklet (in Dutch) with tips for people who want to continue the translation work. Quite technical, but very instructive for those who want to dive in.
